Creeps: An Overview


The world tries to ignore the creeps—the eyeless beggars, the rancid bag ladies, the gibbering, snot-nosed kids who live on the margins of society. So when trouble comes, the creeps have to take care of their own.


In this story, trouble strikes as creeps start disappearing from the city’s streets. A band of creeps with special abilities learn that a genetic engineering firm called Genesys may be behind the mysterious abductions, so they in turn abduct a Genesys employee in order to get the truth out of him. Their intervention ramps up the level of violence and horror—but not just horror of the blood and guts kind. Rather they find moral horror in the casual evil of powerful members of society’s establishment, including the heads of Genesys and the city’s mayor."
